“Never get so busy making a living that you forget to make a life”
Joshua Tree, CA
Hi there, would you like to know me?
My name is Jana ( pronounce Zhja-na ), a girl that loves to create, dream and travel the world.
I was born and raised in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. A fun fact or a weird fact for me is that when I was a little girl, I used to think that I wasn’t from the Planet Earth ( sometimes I feel the same way now ). I grew up in a country where we use to get bananas and oranges only for Christmas. We had to wait for hours in line for bread and you could only get one per family. Of course all that was in the 80’s during communism, things have changed now. The point is, it made me appreciate the little things in life that we sometimes take for granted.
I will always remember my roots and I am thankful for every moment of my life. Although my home was once Bulgaria, now I am a child of this beautiful world who wants to be a better person and inspire others to live a loving life.
I had three big dreams since I was little:
1. To find the love of my life and live happily ever after ( what a cliche, i know ). I am a complete romantic at heart and love is my main power in life.
2. To be a successful designer. I loved fashion and design as long as I can remember. In high school I studied fashion design and I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design from New Bulgarian University. Until now, I am still pursuing this dream. Three years ago I started my jewelry brand Fast Love Designs and I keep on going. In April 2016 I quit my full time job in one of the best restaurants in the world to follow my heart and passion. Now, I am dedicating all forces towards it and this travel blog. It is important to do what we love and what makes us happy.
3. To travel the world. With my heart set on seeing the rest of the world and my love for fashion, I moved to Paris when I was 18. I got accepted to study fashion design, but surprisingly I didn’t continue my dream for too long. After an year and a half I dropped everything and came back to Bulgaria. Why? Because I was young and in love. That’s right, I dumped my dream for a guy. Like I said, I am more of a follow my heart than my brain type of girl.
I don’t regret a single thing in life. Everything has thought me a lesson and lead me to now; helping me become who I am. After all, everything happens for a reason. Following my heart and going back to Bulgaria from Paris for that one guy, (who we stayed together almost 7 years ), lead me to the moment I met Mikey. That, I call the best reason and you know the rest.

I can proudly say that I made 2.5 out of my 3 big dreams come true, and believe I will do everything I can to make them all complete.
Living in the beautiful mountains in Colorado for the past 11 years, finding my one and true love, traveling the world and starting my jewelry brand Fast Love Designs … I can only say one last thing: Life is beautiful, don’t stop dreaming and follow those big dreams of your. Trust me, they somehow know the way.

That’s the short version of me, you will see and get to know us more from our blog and adventures. At the end, I hope we can inspire you in a positive way to be better, live the life you dream and travel the world.
Although my schedule is busy juggling between creating one-of-a kind jewelry for my business and this travel blog, I dedicate every minute of my free time to my loving husband Mikey and our cat Ke’e.
Other than that you will find me going to pilates 5 times a week, cooking vegan meals, riding my bike cruiser, chilling on the beach watching Mikey surf or traveling to some new destination on our bucket list and exploring the world. In a nutshell, I thoroughly enjoy life!
Did I forgot to mention that I love to sleep in? I would be a morning person if mornings happen to be around noon. To add some more, I never watch TV but I love when I have time to see a good movie. Animals are my weakness, especially cats I love them. One last thing: dancing and shopping.
I just love my life and husband.
