The first thing that comes to our mind when you say the word Hawaii is PARADISE. For us, the best of all is the “Green Island” Kauai. This small and less populated island hides unbelievable serenity, lush flora, magnificent beaches, one of the most beautiful places on earth Na Pali Coast and holds the true Aloha Spirit.

Kauai is the most perfect destination for everyone on this planet. For romance or adventures-outdoor couples, to family with our without kids, for the adrenaline junkies, hikers, surfers, divers, or nature, beach lover, for the foodies or just relax and do nothing type of person, Kauai has it all.
Our ultimate spot to stay on the island is the North Shore, either Hanalei Bay or Princeville. We always rent a car to give us the flexibility to explore the island, it’s small enough to drive around and go to many places a day. Mostly we go to our top favorite beaches but we have explore the whole island as well.
If non of this can convince you enough, please enjoy our photo guide from our numerous visits to this paradise.
“OUR SECRET BEACH”
We call this “our secret beach” because it’s not on any touristy map and only locals know how to get there. We were lucky enough to be shown this unspoiled little gem where we could relax and have it all for ourselves. It’s true tropical heaven.
KE’E BEACH
Ke’e beach on the other hand is well know place for tourist and it’s mostly crowed. It’s at the end of the road on the North Shore that leads to the beginning of Na Pali Coast. When there’s no swell it’s a perfect ocean lagoon for snorkeling and swimming. We recommend getting there really early in the morning to avoid crowds and find parking, because it’s one of the most visited beaches in Kauai.
LUMAHAI BEACH – THE WEST SIDE
We featured Lumahai in our Best 7 Beaches in Kauai, but here some photos from the west side of this pictures beach.Thers’s usually plenty of parking and it’s right of the highway. You wont fine this part of Lumahai crowded at all due to the fact that is one of the most dangerous beaches for drownings and is not recommended for swimming unless the conditions are calmer during the summer, but still use cautions. On the other hand though this side is perfect for stroll on the beach, enjoy the scenery and take some gorgeous photos.
HANALEY BAY
All we need to say is that you can’t come to Kauai and not stop by and spend an afternoon at Hanalei Bay. If you do that, make sure you stop by the peaceful town of Hanalei first, grab some delicious food and stay for a majestic sunset. If you like to be active, this is a great place to take a surf lesson or if you are more of advance surfer padle in to the Impossible for some good waves.
PRINCEVILLE
Princeville is a great place to stay on the North Shore, with many condos and vacation rentals. Breathtaking views of Hanalei Bay and Bali Hai. Make sure to go for a dinner or cocktail to St Regis Resort and watch the sunset, it’s totally worth it.
When you come and visit Kauai, try to unwind and relax, slow down and enjoy every moment of it. Charge your mind and body with only positive vibrations and absorb this beauty. Try to feel and live the Aloha Spirit with hearts full of love, because ultimately is One Magical Place on Earth.
Kealia Beach
Kealia Beach
POIPU BEACH
The most popular beach on the South Shore of Kauai. It’s a great kids and family friendly beach as well as a good surf learning spot.
Friends on the beach
Sometimes you can find a good snack on the beach
When there’s swell we go chasing the waves
And when Surf is on, It’s ON
And when the waves are small, there’s plenty more to do
Shipwrek Beach – South Kauai
Waimea falls
SKY DIVE
If you seek for adventure and adrenaline, you should definitely consider skydiving. What better place to do it then the paradaise of Kauai.
That was in 2009 for Mikey’s 30th Bday. Oh my, what a trip. We gave his life in the hands of Sky Dive Kauai and you should see his smile at the end. It was a complete surprise, Mikey had no idea what he is about to do until we got there. Let’s just say he need a minutes to sink that in his head.
Happy End
We hope that we got a little sparkle in your heart and at least the desire to visit Kauai. You should put it on your bucket list for sure, trust us on that.
